March 4, 2007 // 0 CommentsThe information below is the work of Jonathan Kirton, from his privately published family genealogy “A Kirton Family History”:
“Kearton’s Plantation or Estate, St. Vincent”. By J. G. KIRTON, Third great-nephew of George KEARTON (or KIRTON), Attorney at Law, of Mansel Street, Goodmans Fields, Middlesex, who, with his younger brother, Captain Thomas KIRTON (my third great-grandfather), were both nephews of George KEARTON, Jr. of St. Vincent, and thus were both first cousins of Ann KEARTON’s husband, John KEARTON of the Island of St. Vincent.
