searching for any info on ANTHONY HART HOBSON about 1840-1860 AND JOHN HENRY HOBSON early 1800s – Chief Justice at some time
Dear Angelwatch7
I am a direct descendant of John Henry Hobson, Anthony Hart Hobson and Anthony Pemberton Hobson. All three held posts in the colonial administration of St Vincent. John Henry was the Chief Justice in the 1820s, his son Anthony Hart was the Provost Marshall as was his son up to 1867 I think. A.P. was also the Inspector-General of Police on St Vincent.
I have some more information and would be willing to help you further.
