I am looking for relatives of George Allen born abt.1894 in Richmond. He was married to Florence Allen born abt.1900 in Layou. They had two children. My Father:Ruben Hector Allen born 12/20/1920 in St.Vincent and my Uncle:Calvin Allen born abt. 1925 in U.S.A. They last visted St. Vincent in 1934 and settled in NYC. I am looking for my family in Campden Park, St- Vincent.My father’s name is Roger Wellington,born on April 9th 1921. His mother’s name is Adina Patterson. My father left St-vincent as a teenager & never returned.I do not know this side of my family & will be thrilled to get to meet someone from this side of my family.

I am looking for any information on the
De Freitas family. I don’t know much about them except they may be from the north part of the island. My gt-grandmother’s name was Emily (*Miss Joe*) De Freitas and she moved to Kingstown probably around the turn of the century. My gt-grandfather was George Corea (do not know where he grew up), also lived in Kingstown where he owned a dry-goods store (Corea & Co.). Any info would be great.

This is in response to Taffy Prescott. My grandfather was name Thaephilus( i think this is how you spell it) prescott nicknamed Taffy from Evesham. My father name is Francis Prescott. My Aunts and Uncles are named, Debbie,verbort, Carl, lyrice, katherine, evette, sylvia. His wife named was winnie. I don’t know but see if this might be some help.

Hi I am trying to find the original family name of my great grand father. He was given a British name of Albert Davis though his mother and father came from India to work in St Vincent. They were not allowed to use their original Indian names. My great grand father was born in St Vincent about 1886. does anyone know how to trace original migrant names by using the name of the plantation owner ?
